Sarah, owner and stylist of Black Dagger Hair, brings over 16 years of experience in the industry. With a passion for alternative haircuts and fashion-forward color, she creates bold, expressive looks that reflect each client’s individuality. Inspired by rock and roll and music subcultures, her work blends edge, precision, and intention.

An experienced industry educator, Sarah has taught both locally and internationally, sharing her approach to cutting, creativity, and self-expression with stylists around the world.

Through Black Dagger Hair, she has created a queer-centered, gender-affirming salon space rooted in authenticity, connection, and self-expression, where clients and stylists are supported in showing up fully as themselves.

She is also the founder of the Black Dagger Community Collective, a nonprofit focused on community support, free gender-affirming services, and accessible education. Through this work, Sarah is committed to showing up for those who have been pushed to the margins, creating space to support, uplift, and celebrate the LGBTQIA2S+ community while carving out something steady and real in the middle of an often chaotic world.
